We restored this cabinet in a museum quality condition for Mr. Horton who purchased it for $3,500 dollars and auctioned off at CHRISTIE'S in London for $55,000 dollars. Mr. Horton was very gracious to keep us informed. This can be found in CHRISTIE'S catalog of sale items, Thursday 1 December 2005 edition.

The materials in this cabinet are inlaid ivory, brass, and tortoise shell. All meticulously laid in harmony to one another. The ivory etched inlaid panel is scribed with the year Circa: 16th century.

We restored this armoire in a museum quality condition for Mr. Horton who purchased it for a very nominal fee and placed it with CHRISTIE'S in London which auctioned off at $255,000 dollars.
